For over twenty years, I have been deeply committed to walking alongside individuals on their journeys toward healing and personal growth. I believe that every person possesses a unique capacity for transformation, and my role is to provide the empathetic, compassionate space needed to unlock that potential. I utilize many modalities of treatment and healing, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use techniques I have acquired from education and training in Mindfulness, Heart-Brain Coherence, Buddhist Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology and Energy Psychology. And, I have certification in IOP treatment of addictions and a gambling addiction counselor.
My background also includes extensive work with the LGBTQ+ community, military members, veterans, and individuals in the justice system. As a veteran myself, I offer a specialized "cultural shorthand" for military members and veterans and am a VA Community Care provider.

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and received my Bachelor of Science in Education, Training, and Development from Southern Illinois University. I have over ten years experience as an addictions and substance abuse counselor, over six years as an anger management counselor, domestic violence counselor and parenting educator with court-ordered clientele. I also have over eight years experience in mediating work place, family and divorce conflicts.
